PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE

"HI TEMP" PS Hook and Loop Tape is a high temperature resistance, high performance pressure sensitive coating designed to bond hook and loop fasteners to a variety of substrates such as aluminum, stainless steel, painted metal, glass, polycarbonate, abs plastic, polystyrene, polyamides, rigid pvc, phenolic-melamine, etc.

Typical physical properties of 1" wide tape bonded to aluminum are:

1. Peel Adhesion (PSTC-1) 100 oz/inch
2. Shear Adhesion (Modified PSTC-7) Creep for 1" x 1" bonded area with 1 lb. load
3. Creep at room temperature: none
4. Temperature for 1/16" Creep: 300 F
5. Tensile Load (1" x 1" area): 6.5 - 10 lbs
6. Useful Service Range 0 F to 158 F

Surface must be cleaned and dry, preferably with a solvent, before bonding.
For best results, bonding is recommended at room temperature of 60 to 75 F.

We recommend cleaning with fastener in the closed position to protect the fastener.
